The Youth Service Bureau presents the 10^th annual On The Field PA Sporting Clays Tournament. A picnic lunch begins the tournament followed by a practice session and a 12:30pm shotgun start. The tournament is played at Hillendale Hunt Club in Tyrone, Pennsylvania on a 17-station course with 100 clay targets. The evening concludes with hors d’oeuvres, an auction showcase, followed by awards and the banquet. Pewter awards are the favorite among shooters and presented to team champion, lady champion and individuals. Banquet tickets and other sponsorship opportunities are available.

2010 Otto’s Golf-Fest

The 2010 event will be held Monday, August 30, 2010 at the State College Elks Club.

The four-person Throw, String Scramble with a Shotgun Start allows the golfers to have fun and set aside the “serious competition.” The Otto’s brew helps, too!

The $135 golfer registration fee includes greens fees, cart, Otto’s brew, breakfast goodies, lunch, a gift pack, an Italian buffet dinner & awards ceremony, prizes, and more! Registration forms and payment must be received by Friday, August 20, 2010. No refunds will be issued after this date. The event will take place rain or shine, so be prepared to play.

The State College Elks is providing a special incentive this year to the major sponsors of Otto’s Golf-Fest. Bronze Sponsors will receive a “Golden Ticket” to redeem for a complimentary round of golf for two with a cart. Silver and Cart Sponsors will receive 2 “Golden Tickets” (4 players), and Gold Sponsors will receive 4 “Golden Tickets” (8 players)! Golden Tickets may be redeemed at the State College Elks within one year, as soon as the sponsorship payment is received by ClearWater Conservancy. The Centre Communities Chapter of the American Red Cross is based in Centre County (hence the primitive spelling), Pennsylvania, with chapter headquarters in downtown State College. A second office is located in Philipsburg to serve the Moshannon Valley on the western edge of Centre County, as well as the eastern third of Clearfield County. The total service area is larger than the state of Rhode Island.
